MONTESSORI DIRECTRESS

Ayca is the founder of Eastbridge Montessori. She is the mother of a seven-year-old Montessori child and lives in Waterloo with her son, her husband, and their gentle but giant cat. Ayca holds a (B.A.) in psychological counseling and guidance, and completed her Montessori training at Montessori Teachers College in Toronto, and has become a certified Montessori Early Childhood educator through MACTE. She also successfully obtained her master’s degree in Montessori Integrative Learning through Endicott College/TIES program. This experience through the TIES program was a journey that will be forever etched in her memory. Throughout this journey, she has grown into a holistic learning enthusiast and her approach to education and her work evolved from being a teacher to being a conscious observer of each child and the learning environment. Rather than teaching children, she now enjoys wondering with children and guiding each of them in their unique learning journeys so that they can construct themselves as wholesome beings.
